Andrew Thornton’s Endless Sky Challenge

I took part in another one of Andrew Thortons challenges. This one is the Endless Sky challenge.

image imageimageI used the neat clay pendant for this first necklace.

I’ve been taking a metal working class this summer so decided to combine some of my new learnt techniques in the second necklace.

First I made the wire pendant and then I made my own links and jump rings to go on it too. I still have to make a clasp for it but was thinking the reveal date was Saturday instead of Thursday.
imageFor the third necklace I decided to use some of the waxed linen that was in the kit and I love how this turned out.

I still have the chip beads left to use and have a necklace planned but ran out of time. I would like to thank Andrew for hosting this swap and also for the gorgeous, generous selection of beads that are always in his kits.

Here’s the list so you can check out everyone else’s creations.

I think all of the pieces you created are really lovely! I particularly love the wire piece you created with your new skills! Good job! Looks like the class is really paying off! Thanks so much for participating! And I’m thinking of finally doing the Catch Up Reveal, so if you do create something with the chip, you might consider posting it then!

Don’t you just love Andrew’s kits? Great designs all though I really like the wire work necklace. I definitely need to find such a class.

Lovely pieces! You used some of the beads I really loved but didn’t get to use like the two beautiful flowers in your first necklace and the lucite ring in your last necklace, which is my favorite piece. I love that fringe you made with the linen. Great work using your new wire working skills!

Great pieces, all of them. I think I’m especially fond of the fringe necklace but I also really like your combination of the blues and copper. They look really good together

Great job using your newly learned class skills and applying them to this fun challenge. Your wire heart and handmade connections are beautiful! I love how you made the fringe for the last necklace. You featured Andrew’s pendant beautifully with the blue accent beads.

Nice job! I love all three! I used bright copper, too, it really goes with this blue palette. Your links are spectacular !
